Ofsted

Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place on the 1st and 2nd April, 2025.

The inspectors visited the school over two days, which included scrutiny into various subjects, lesson visits, discussions with staff and pupils, meetings with school leaders and other staff and scrutiny of work undertaken by children.

We are absolutely delighted that the inspectors concluded that Whybridge Junior School is ‘Good’ in 3 out of the 4 areas inspected and 'Outstanding' in the area of Behaviour and Attitudes.

Pupils' behaviour is described as 'exemplary' because staff have ambitious expectations. 'This results in a harmonious environment, conducive to learning.'

The inspectors also recognised the work we have done in adapting our provision for pupils with SEND, stating that 'pupils with SEND are accurately identified and ably supported to achieve well.'

We will continue to strive to make Whybridge Junior School the very best learning environment for pupils and build on the achievements outlined in this report.
